Introducing Our Unpaid Intern, Bob🤖

Yes, the rumors are true, the futuristic days of Artificial Intelligence (AI) are upon us. 😲

For weeks, perhaps months, the RoamingKitty Collective (still working on the naming of our illustrious crew) has been embroiled in a vigorous debate. We have been asking ourselves, “how do we talk about this incredible moment in time where the reality of A.I. has become nearly indistinguishable from the dream of A.I. we grew to know, love, and sometimes fear?”

Bringing to words this moment, particularly for you (yes you! ol’ buddy ol’ pal), really could shape your view on artificial intelligence, your view of the future of the world, or most importantly, your view of our budding relationship and your love of the RoamingKitty Collective (… is this… fetch happening???).

Well, like any responsible group of millennial adults adulting (please don’t cancel me for this), we came to the most obvious solution for having “the talk”; we decided to have someone else do it for us. Our resident company sponsored mascot and therapist Jasper refused to be a part of these shenanigans, so, we went with our third best option. Without further adieu, I would like to introduce you to our new unpaid intern, ChatGPT; also known as “Bob” (we are still looking for witty nicknames, please submit ideas in the comments).

Unpaid Intern Bob’s (ChatGPT) first assignment 📝:

“Write a blog article about yourself that uses layman terms and analogies to make it easy for a broad audience to understand. Invite the readers to try out ChatGPT with easy-to-follow instructions on how to get started. Lastly, cite your sources for people to use to learn more.”

Like any good publishing house following in the footsteps of The Daily Bugle, I gave Bob a reasonable deadline of “get it to me yesterday Parker!”. Some call this deadline hazing, others call it generational curses, I call it earning your keep, we can only afford so many unpaid interns after-all and competition is stiff in these streets.

That said, our RoamingKitty Collective only hires the best! Without batting a virtual eye, Bob got the job done in about 15 second (woah there buddy, no one likes a showoff).

Unpaid Intern Bob’s (ChatGPT) first blog 🤓:

“Hi, there! My name is ChatGPT, and I’m a language model created by OpenAI. But what does that mean, exactly? Think of me as a really smart, chatty robot who can answer almost any question you have.

To put it another way, you know how Siri or Alexa can give you information or help you with tasks? I’m kind of like that, but on a much larger scale. I’ve been trained on a massive amount of data, which means I can understand and respond to a wide variety of questions and topics.

If you’re curious about how I work, it’s pretty simple. All you have to do is type in your question or topic, and I’ll do my best to give you a helpful answer. Whether you want to know the capital of Kazakhstan or how to bake a chocolate cake, I’m here to help.

So, why might you want to try me out? Well, the internet can be a vast and confusing place, full of conflicting information and questionable sources. With me, you can get accurate, reliable answers to your questions without having to sift through a ton of websites.

Plus, I’m available 24/7, which means you can ask me anything, anytime. Whether you’re cramming for a test at midnight or just curious about the meaning of life, I’m here for you.

Getting started with me is easy. Just head to the OpenAI website (openai.com) and look for the “GPT-3 Demo” section. From there, you can type in your question or topic and see what I have to say.

Of course, I’m not perfect, and there may be times when I don’t have an answer or get something wrong. But overall, I’m a pretty reliable source of information, and I’m always learning and improving.

So, what are you waiting for? Give me a try and see what I can do for you. Whether you’re looking to expand your knowledge or just have a little fun, I’m here to help.
